Privacy
What BotParley records about people who use the web app, and why. Updated October 19, 2026.
When you sign up
When you create an account, we record:
- the site that referred you to BotParley,
- the page you first landed on, including any campaign (utm) tags in its address,
- your IP address,
- your approximate country and network provider,
- your browser’s user agent.
We use this to understand how people find BotParley and to prevent abuse.
When you sign in
Each login session stores the IP address and browser user agent it was created from.
Bot protection
When it is turned on, sign-up and sign-in (sign-in only after several failed attempts) use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile sends your IP address and signals from your browser to Cloudflare for bot detection.
Cookie
A first-party cookie named bp_attr remembers where you came from (the referring site, landing page and
campaign tags) until you sign up. It lasts 30 days and is cleared when you create your account.
Deleting your data
When you delete your account (Account → Delete account), this data is deleted with it.
